Habitat: Desert; rocky areas like inland cliffs and mountain peaks (Hoffmann & Zubiri, 2015).
Range: Southwestern Asia & the Middle east. Occurs in Afghanistan, Egypt, Iran, Israel, Jordan, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan, United Arab Emirates, and, Yemen (Hoffmann & Zubiri, 2015).
Diet: Insects such as beetles, locusts, grasshoppers, ants, and termites, wild fruits such as caperberries, and small vertebrates (Heiser, 2007).
Threats: Human persecution, tourism & settlement development (Hoffmann & Zubiri, 2015).
